LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Like much of Little Rock, electricity is out at Parris Towers. Residents say they are doing their best to survive.

"Can you imagine wearing the same clothes two or three days and can't take a shower. That is not a good thing," said resident Katherine Strong.

Residents say there is one generator in the building, supplying power to the kitchen to warm food. But people have been giving supplies, like oxygen tanks, to help residents get through the problem.

"We came together. We stuck together. We pulled together. It's not just me alone. It's a group," said Strong.

Amanda Laboy and her family brought apples, oranges, and other essentials from her home in Maumelle.

"We've had power throughout this and I told my husband this morning, its just not right to be sitting here with all the comforts of TV and heat and food and there are people who haven't had that for days," said Laboy.

Hopefully, the power here will be restored soon. But people are grateful despite the situation.

"I thank God too now because it could have been worse," said Strong.
