Personnel files surrounding Petrino firing released

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- We continue to learn more about the relationship between former Razorback Coach Bobby Petrino and former staffer Jessica Dorrell. Notes taken by Athletics Director Jeff Long and Compliance Officer Jon Fagg show why Petrino lost his job.

The notes begin with interviews with Petrino. The hand written documents say the coach and Dorrell became friends through the Razorback Foundation and started going to lunch during the season.

In October, the records show Dorrell asks Petrino, "Are you going to kiss me?"

It is also revealed Petrino gave Dorrell $20,000, which she used to buy a new car. Long writes Petrino never thought the gift was a problem with the relationship.

In another interview with Dorrell, the notes say the physical relationship between the two started last September. Dorrell later approached Petrino about an open job within the department and said the relationship would have to stop if she got the job.

The last encounter between the two would be around signing day in February.
