I bet he wasn;t sorry when he was in the sack with her. He's just trying to get back on the money list. He was scum in all the other places he coached and he'll never change. I was in Louisville when he was there. Leadership wins players and players with leadership wins games and the hearts of fans. WAR EAGLE

I liked him also; and what he did for the Hogs. So close to national champs. But I still think this is spin; to get back into coaching. They said as much on sports this evening. ( Not the spin part; but the regrets and apology part ) Needed in order to get back to work. Sincere? Only Bobby and God know. jcarpe; I'm not throwing stones; are you stoned? I have a prayer list a mile long, much more important things than praying for Petrino.

I sure hope he can put this behind him if he really is sincere.I hope he can save his marriage and get a good job again. He is not the first man to mess up and will not be the last so let those without sin cast stones. As for you who have sinned also pray for him and yourself also.

I doubt he had any regrets when he was "tapping" his little girl friend. They always have regrets when they get caught. I'm with you golfdude; his agent has something to do with this, so that perhaps he can find a job next year.

I guess an apology is in order, but my take is that Petrino's agent is having a big part in all of this in order to get him back into coaching. Hope he is sincere though, I always did like him
