Pine Bluff hires interim police chief

After nearly a month without a police chief, the Pine Bluff Police Department has a new leader. Mayor Carl Redus named Collier Hill, a 30 year law enforcement veteran as interim chief of the department.

Why put the cart before the horse. Not sure of his certification will allow his experience for Arkansas. Already said he don't want the job permanently. Why hire someone who really don't want the job. This is to much power for one man. Pine Bluff mayor needs some help. Seem like this is a buddy system. Good luck Chief Howell you know who you are.

And for the record it isnt even just about the color but the gender as well. Why not hire a woman?

As I posted when the mayor fired the white guy. I bet $1000 he would hire a black man as the new chief. Needless to say I was right..
