PINE BLUFF, AR -- A Pulaski County judge has cancelled the Tuesday hearing date for a lawsuit filed by Pine Bluff Mayor Carl Redus.

A spokesman for Redus' attorney tells FOX16 the case is not on the docket for next week.

Pulaski County Circuit Court Judge Jay Moody had been assigned to hear the case after Jefferson County Circuit judges asked to be recused.

The mayor wants to stop the November 6th election, citing an Arkansas law that says cities with a population under 50,000 are required to have a mayor's election during the midterm election cycle, which is in 2014.

No word on a new court date.

I reckon His "Honor?" needs to get his lies lined up. Signed by his wife while he was at the DNC? Signed by a notary public, without a seal? Appears that crime in Pine Bluff goes all the way up to the mayor's office!
