PINE BLUFF, AR - Pine Bluff Police have arrested a suspect in connection to the city's 12th murder.

Police say 21-year-old Xavier Lee Thomas was arrested on Tuesday night at West 10th and Hazel streets. Thomas, a parolee, was transported to the Dub Brassell detention center where he was booked on 1st degree murder, 1st degree battery and felon in possession of a firearm charges in connection to the October 25th murder of Henry Paul Fells and the assault of Tristan Hunter.

The investigation is ongoing.

Do away with parole. Change the weak sentencing guidelines, do away with the "good time" policy, prosecute capital crimes with capital punishment and carry out the death penalty, stop catering to the needs of the criminals and give the victims justice. In other words, revamp the entire justice system. Am I the only one sick of these repeat offenders bilking the system and tax payers out of millions and millions of dollars?

Wonder what he had been jailed for and how long he's been out. 21 yrs old..another wasted life.
