PINE BLUFF, AR -- A 25-year-old year business does age, but Money Mart Pawn Shop owner Don Edwards didn't plan to do thousands of dollars in work.
But he had no choice since a crook drove a truck smack dab through the front of it.
"They had to go through a metal gate and door barred lock and reinforced and I don't know how the people are still living," said Edwards.
Guns -- all shapes and sizes -- out of the hooks and onto the street.
"When I got here I couldn't believe the hole and the truck was still here and they abandoned the truck," said Edwards.
"We know those weapons are ultimately intended to go to other criminals," said Capt. Greg Shapiro, spokesman for the Pine Bluff Police Department.
Nobody wants to know who smashed through the store more than Alice Ruth.
"I just wish they could catch them and prosecute them," said Ruth.
That truck belonged to her. It was stolen from her carport while the 80-year-old slept.
"That was my husband's truck and he passed in 2002 and that was our truck. That was something that kind of a momento for me," said Ruth.
Ruth's independence is now snatched away.
"I have to worry somebody to carry me to wherever I want to go and I've had something on my own since I was 17 years old driving," Ruth said.
