LAZINESS, pure and simple laziness! Just because an officer didn't want to do a shooting report...Any real dog lover would have put that poor animal out of its misery immediately. And that sergeant needs to be fired. No wonder they call it Crime Bluff!!!

i am a dog lover they are truly mans best friend. i have no problem with putting it out of its misery and i think pine bluff needs to focus on the poeple that are killing humans and not put too much time into a mercy killing of a dog.

They did the right thing,, it would be hard for anyone who owns a dog and knows how much your dog means to you. But they could not let the dog suffer, that would be inhumane.

Sounds like Sgt. Butler doesn't know her job.....just makes sure she passes everything off on someone else....slitting throat and tasing. She needs to go back to school and start at the bottom. Why didn't they just SHOOT THE DOG....DUH !!!

I personally know the office greene very well. I know he owns dogs that he give lots of love and attention to. He was hit by this pretty hard and no he did nothing wrong. That police station needs a good old federal cleaning there is so much corruption and the upper ranks will avoid helping people just so they don't have to take their time to write a report. It is honest officers like Greene that we need more of.
