Pit Bull Attack Less Than Month After County Passes Ordinance

Less than a month after agreements are made placing restrictions on pit bulls in Garland County a woman there is suffering from bite wounds she says she got from one of those breeds.
HOT SPRINGS, AR - Lakin Caldwell is well aware of the heated debate regarding vicious dogs in Garland County but never thought she'd end up right in the middle of it.

"Didn't think it would be me on my country road just walking," she said. "Now I'm a victim just like every one else."

Caldwell says she was walking along her road last Thursday (7/18) evening when a neighbors dog attacked.

"A pit bull came right up at me."

Pictures of the injury show how she says the dog left puncture wounds and bruises around her legs.
