Plane crash injures 2 in Sheridan

SHERIDAN, AR - A small plane crashed just before noon at the Sheridan Municipal Airport.

The FAA says the plane crashed while landing and the two people on board suffered “serious injuries.” One was transported by life flight to the hospital and the other by ground ambulance.

According to the FAA, the plane is a Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer. The FAA’s website says the plane is registered to Vernon Wilkerson and lists his residence in Sheridan.
