I am confused, Why didn't the cops shoot back? Someone is shooting and they retreat? I guess that is their training again? Stopping the threat does not come into play when the threat is actually shooting at them?

This child was raised by a very solid family. His ENTIRE family near and far raised him with much love! NO, his momma is NOT sitting on a couch smoking crack. NO, his family DOES NOT need the reward money. NO, he IS NOT a welfare receipient! YES his family is disappointed that he has chosen to put himself in a bad situation. His family was as shocked and disappointed as the next person when this information was disclosed. YES, his family gets up everyday and go to work to a legitimate business. This child's family is highly educated and well rounded. He will present himself and face the consequences for the allege actions that have been presented. However, only the police and this child know what happened that night and justice will present itself. About the "Obama" checks, Cameron's entire family is TAX PAYERS! The foundation that this child was raised on will prevail and all you people that are so quick to judge an entire family on one alleged event, I'm sure that it is someone you hold dear and close have made some disappointing choices. No, he was raised on the welfare system, no he is not a thug, no his family will not turn him in for reward money, no he was not raised in the ghetto and he is not from New Orleans. I would guess that since you'll are making such comments concerning someone's child- you'll are parents, have mastered parenting, your child(ren) is/are perfect and they would not do anything to bring attention to the family. Am I making light of what has happened, no, not at all. However, what I will say is, you should not be so quick to make comments when you don't know the story. You can raise children to walk the straight and narrow, get them professional help when and if they need it, give them love and support- it's up to the individual to make a choice. You go with what you have been taught or you choose another road. No matter what road you choose, there are consequences for your actions. I would also guess that you'll have all the answers for the problems that are affecting our neighborhoods. What have you done to help since you are so quick to post a comment here? If this was your neighbor, son, brother, cousin, grandchild or someone you have a relationship with- would you have the same views and comments?
