BENTON, AR – Three men are charged with attempted murder after police say they broke into a man’s house and shot him.

The shooting happened at 4am on 121 Lake Street in Benton. Police say the victim and the three suspects have an ongoing history of conflict. The victim was taken to the hospital, police say his injuries are not life threatening.

Arrested are Jonathan Edgin, 21, Kevin Hensley, 21, and Cornelius Wilson, 20.

Hensley is charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Capital Murder, Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime, Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Battery 2nd Degree, Battery 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief.

Wilson is charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Capital Murder, Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Battery 2nd Degree, Battery 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief.

Edgin is charged with Criminal Attempt to Commit Capital Murder, Unauthorized Use of Another Person’s Property to Facilitate a Crime, Aggravated Residential Burglary, Aggravated Assault, Battery 2nd Degree, Battery 3rd Degree, and Criminal Mischief.
