Police: Man bites 10yo, beats girlfriend

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A man arrested in a Walmart parking lot is accused of beating his girlfriend and biting a 10-year-old.

According to the North Little Rock Police, 40-year-old Cesar Martinez was beating his girlfriend in front of their 2 kids in the Walmart Parking Lot at the McCain Mall. In the report, Martinez was punching his girlfriend in the car. She then got out of the car and began to scream for help. According to the report, Martinez then began kicking the woman in the face until she fell to the ground.

Police say Martinez pulled a knife and threatened both kids, the other who is 15-months-old.

Police also say Martinez struck and bit the 10-year-old on the hand.

Martinez is in jail on $100,000 bond. He is charged with 2nd and 3rd degree domestic battery, as well as three counts of aggravated assault.
