US banks need the same protection most of the bigger banks in Europe use. When a Robber OR someone hands them a note a heavy steel cage drops across the front of all tellers and prevents access to to the teller area. Underneath the teller area is bullet proof

@blackandproud....I agree 100% with you! Trust me I haven't exactly been on board with some of the former presidents. However, you suck it up and deal with it!! In my opinion, if you are that unhappy and dissatisfied...move to another country!! And as for crime, theives will be theives if Obama is president or if golfdude is!!!

itsjsutme you are entitled to your opinion as everyone else is but dont you think attaching all crimes to the President is a litte strange? the armed guards dont do much for fear of shootout and innocent lives being lost. its just a little money and the fbi are pretty good at finding these guys. most bank robberys only get the money the teller has in front of them so its just not worth a shootout. its sad that people feel that is the only way to survive by stealing or robbery and scaring the crap out of innocent people who are working to make a living. he will get ten years in the feds, that is the daycare of the prison system.
