Police: Rape suspect arrested

LITTLE ROCK, AR – Little Rock police have captured suspected rapist Michael Curry. Curry faces charges of rape and attempted murder for an incident that occurred on Tuesday, January 17th.

A police report states officers responded to 15000 Chenal Parkway that morning and a woman told police she had been raped at gunpoint by Michael Curry.

The report says after the attack, Curry had the victim get into a bathtub full of water and then he put a TV that was plugged into the wall into the tub. The victim tells police she acted as though she was dead and Curry left the bathroom.

The police report says Curry stole the victim’s laptop, $252, and other items from the victim’s apartment.

Curry is charged with aggravated robbery, rape, kidnapping, and criminal attempt to commit capital murder.
