NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – Police believe the man who robbed the Bank of the Ozarks Monday afternoon in North Little Rock is the same man who robbed the Bank of Star City in Pine Bluff 45 minutes earlier.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his mid-20’s to mid-30’s, 5’10” and 185 lbs, driving a black Toyota Camry. In both cases, police say the suspect never showed a gun, but implied that he had one. The Star City Bank robbery happened about 2:45pm, the Bank of the Ozarks robbery happened about 3:30pm.

Suspect was last seen driving east on McCain Blvd. Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to contact the police.

My mistake; he was a suspect in 4 bank robberies; the reason behind the 4 different pics. I do agree with Tired though; that's a long way to go in that amount of time. Just out of curiosity, I'm going to Google maps, and check out the miles and route between the 2 banks in Pine Bluff and NLR, and try and figure out how fast he would have had to driven. It does appear though, he would have had to flown, as Tired suggested.

zipede; that was good for a chuckle, thanks! Have all of you seen the updated story? The slide show on the updated story shows pictures of 4 men, all in different shirts; how is it 4 men in different shirts can be responsible for two bank robberies? I'm with you ArkMother; I don't think it was the same person either.

How do they think the same person did both of these crimes? There's no way to get from one bank to the other in 45 minutes, unless he was flying. Sounds like shoddy investigation to me.
