PINE BLUFF, AR -- Kids in Pine Bluff wrap up a fun-filled summer learning and playing at a camp organized by police officers.

The kids, ages six to sixteen, learned routines, skits, songs, and even took field trips as a way to stay occupied while they've been out of school.

They gathered at Southeast Middle School every day under the supervision of police officers.

"It teaches us how to be better people and I really want to thank my coach, Officer Bradley, for teaching us about being in the military and it made me become a better man and it makes me want to be better and do better things because I know doing better things will get you somewhere in life," said Kevawn Goins.

The camp ends Friday.

The kids will showcase everything they've learned to their parents and friends at 11 a.m. at the Convention Center.
