Police arrest suspect in EZ Mart shooting

Around 10pm on Tuesday officers conducted a traffic stop at 24th and Adams after receiving a tip that the suspect from the robbery and shooting of the store clerk at an EZ Mart may be in the area.
LITTLE ROCK, AR - Around 10pm on October 16, officers conducted a traffic stop at 24th and Adams after receiving a tip that the suspect from the robbery and shooting of the store clerk at an EZ Mart may be in the area.

Officers arrested 21-year-old Larry Ishmon. Investigators interviewed Ishmon to determine if he was involved incident and subsequently charged him with 1st degree battery, attempt to commit capital murder and aggravated robbery.

Ishmon pleaded not guilty to his charges in Little Rock District Court. His bond was set at $500,000 and the case was sent to Pulaski County Circuit Court, with his next court date set for December 17.
