Dear Tired. You are completely-right. I know for a fact that people have been hired as cops for Pine Bluff because of their special connections. Some were hired due to being a relative of a public official, or a special mover & shaker. I've lived in Pine Bluff for a long time, and my stepfather retired from the Pine Bluff Fire Department after 22 years of service, so I know what I'm talking about.

@Butch54...Badges nowadays are used to identify thugs...in the past it was a respectable thing...to carry a badge...now not so much...these thugs/politicians/tax collectors/political minime's...are sullying a once great institution...you don't realize how correct you are...here's a saying of mine...they are not here to protect and serve they are here to take your money...if we ran a background check on all the cops in this state...i am willing to bet over half of them would fail...if you know the right people anybody can be a cop...ask any of those thugs over in Saline county...or deputy dawg up in harrison...or yes even that boy mentioned in this article...wonder how this thug got a job...he knew somebody...last one...we got the fox guarding the henhouse

Think about that saying of mine. You need a scorecard to see who needs a badge and who doesn't.

I know of one for sure... a former co-worker of mine who he later started dating. Yeah... commended for his DWI work alright, using it as a way to pick up girls. Did I mention a hit and run he was involved in at said former work place?

I wonder how many dui's he's arrested people for? I hate hypocrites like that
