Police say sibling shooting not accidental

Police said Wednesday that a 9-year-old girl pulled the trigger in the fatal shooting of her 7-year-old brother while their parents were briefly away from their Arkansas apartment.

Let's see them throw the book at the parents! There is a state law that prohibits parents from leaving children under 12yo unattended. These "parents" should know more than others that an autistic child is unpredictable even when they are present.

Things like this will keep rolling right along. No idiot proof test for gun ownership. I know lots of people that have no use owning a gun. I'm not just talking criminals. All those always calling for a killing would be a good place to start. Just think. If those people in Bryant win there case it will be the opening of the door to check all these sights. There will go a lot of those CC's.

She cant be charged because of her age? At what age does one become accountable for their actions? Our justice system is so screwed up. Charge the parents. If they hadnt left, this may not have happened. What a joke.

Who leaves two children alone in an apartment with a loaded weapon? Who leaves an autistic child alone? The child can't be punished, but the parents should be! Noone to blame but themselves.....PERIOD!!!
