SALINE COUNTY, AR - The Saline County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public’s assistance finding a level four sex offender.

According to reports, 55-year-old Jeffery Paul Whittier of Hot Springs Village failed to appear on a charge of distributing/possessing viewing matter depicting pornography. Whittier is a level 4 sex offender who was living in Hot Springs Village. A person at his listed residence told police that he hadn’t been seen in approximately a month.

Anyone with information on Whittier’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Saline County Sheriff’s Office at (501) 303-5609.

This man molested my son for 3 years... THAT is why he is a level 4 offender. This article says he was found in possession of CHILD pornography during a check.. That is most definitely against the turns of his sex offender registration. He is a terrible person and a DANGER to children. I hope they find him soon...

Re-read what it says...he is a) a level 4 sex offender b)distributing OR possessing and c) failure to appear and is now d) nowhere to be found b - c are his crimes because he is a level 4 sex offender get it?

Look... I by no means know this man or am I taking up for him, but I read this...."According to reports, 55-year-old Jeffery Paul Whittier of Hot Springs Village failed to appear on a charge of distributing/possessing viewing matter depicting pornography" Now with the above printed by this news article, distributing may be a crime without a lic. but "possessing viewing matter depicting pornography" is not a crime,I read playboy, hustsler, and there is nothing about CHILD porno. I just dont get it. By this article I am a sex offender for looking at playboy and Hustler.

@blackandproud, perhaps you should take a look at the sex offender registry and you'll know that your black people molest just as much as white people. and white people steal just as much as black people.

Rather than "wasting" millions upon millions of taxpayer dollars to house these creeps that are creeping through the justice systems cracks, I believe that there IS a cure...it's called CASTRATION!!!!!

A little Wayne Dumond justice would be in order here. When other perverts see his goods in a jar on display like those of Dumond it might be more of a deterrent than a jail cell.

Agreed, pedophiles CAN NOT be rehabilitated. They are true monsters just as dangerous as zombies, vampires and all the other such monsters portrayed in movies and literature. The only way to deal with them is to put them down, just as you would a rapid animal.
