HOPE, AR – Police are searching for a man who they suspect of raping a woman at her home.
According to reports, officials from the Hope Police Department responded to a call about a rape at a home located in the 1200 block of Cedar Street. The victim told police that a man, later identified as 25-year-old Brandon Martin of Hope, came to her residence, kicked in a door then beat and sexually assaulted her, stating that if she called the police, he would kill her.
Police describe Martin as 6”1, 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing white shorts and a black pullover hoodie. Anyone with information on Martin’s whereabouts is asked to call the Hope Police Department at (870) 777-3434 or (870) 722-2576.
