LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) — Polls are open for voters to cast ballots in the runoff election for primary races that weren't decided last month.

Polls opened at 7:30 a.m. and will close at 7:30 p.m. If a voter is standing in line at 7:30 p.m., he or she can still cast a ballot.

Tuesday's election features two Democratic primaries for congressional seats in east and south Arkansas. In the 1st district, Scott Ellington and Clark Hall are facing off for the nomination to challenge Republican Congressman Rick Crawford in November.

In the 4th district, Gene Jeffress and Q. Byrum Hurst are vying for their party's nomination. Republican Tom Cotton won the May 22 primary and will face the winner in November.

Tuesday's election also features a handful of legislative runoffs and other local contests.
