NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – The North Little Rock Fire Department is investigating a possible arson fire at a home on Marion Street.

The fire department says only one person lives at the house and was not home at the time of the fire. The Red Cross is helping the resident find a place to stay.

Fire officials say the fire happened around 7pm Thursday. The fire is being investigated as a possible arson because there were two separate areas of the house where the fire was started, according to the fire department. They estimate the fire caused $50,000 worth of damage to the house.
