LONOKE COUNTY, AR - Information from a Faulkner County inmate about the possible burial location of John Glasgow has no validity, according to Pulaski County prosecutor Larry Jegley.
Jail inmate John Brawner claimed he helped bury John Glasgow in a bean field in Lonoke County 4 years ago. Little Rock Police detectives and members of the University of Arkansas Archeology Department spent Monday digging in three locations at the field.
“The story Brawner told had no validity," Jegley tells FOX16 News. "I’m convinced that it’s an unfortunate misleading manipulation on his part.”
“We’re now moving on to other things to figure out the truth of the matter,” Jegley says. “I feel sorry for the family and friends of John Glasgow for having to be put through this."
A Pulaski County judge declared Glasgow dead in 2011 after the Little Rock business man vanished in 2008. His vehicle was located at Petit Jean Mountain State Park abandoned shortly after his disappearance.
