Rabies is on the rise in Arkansas

The Department of Health says more than 50 wild animals have already tested positive for rabies this year with two more reports coming in just today.

Please do a rewrite or addition to this story. Include the areas these 50 rabid cases were located (counties, cities) and what the carriers were (skunks, bats, etc). This is an important story and should have been addressed with more attention.

I am a little confused is the 50 cases all from skunks since no cats or dogs only 1 cow.

there are some pieces missing here...the response to the dog park call does not include what was found out, if anything...checking the vaccine? What does that mean? Did they find the biting dog, or the owner, or what? Will the dog that was bitten have to be quarantined or tested? More facts please...
