LITTLE ROCK, AR – Saturday morning thousands of men and women will hit the streets for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K.
The race starts at 8am at the corner of 2nd and Broadway.
The weather is expected to be perfect for running. The 3.1 mile course will take participants across the Broadway Bridge into North Little Rock, around Dickey-Stephens Park, back into Little Rock via the Main Street Bridge, cross in front of the Capitol, and finish at Capitol Ave and Gains.

Arch to Spring Streets, through 2nd to 6th streets will be closed to traffic starting around 5pm Friday through the completion of the race. Parking for the race can be found on the perimeter of the route, but not inside of it.

Seventy-five percent of the net money raised from the race will stay in Arkansas to help organization provide breast cancer education, screening, and treatment programs.
