Drink in Pulaski County!!!!!! This is absolutely crazy. I would just drive to Bryant or Little Rock. They never wanted alcohol in their lovely little dry town to begin with. This is just their way to try and discourage it.

Dixie Mafia...those local officials who use their position of authority to make money for their municipality...these officials engage in exthorsion,slander outright lies...and do it all under the color of justice...or i'm just doin my job...i didn't create the system...kinda like Boss Hogg in the Dukes of Hazard...cept these guys are slick and there are no camera's around to show it to us...tickets are not revenue...but in these "Robber Baron" judge's mind they are..i'm gonna get in your pocket too teach you a lesson...when all they are really doing is generating revenue...and feeding their ego's...look at me imma judge...the sad part is we are paying thru the nose for their arrogance...simply put the Dixie Mafia and The "Ole Boy" system are one and the same...its just slicked up now not so blayent...they've actually passed laws now that take your freedoms away...they are doing it everyday and we are sitting here under the color of PC and letting them get away with it

There are a lot of cities that are feeling the crunch due to Obamanomics. I comend the mayor for saying he can not justify the raise and not really wanting it. Most cities have to stay within the salary guidelines of the Arkansas Municipal League and there are a lot of city employees that are under paid. The city I work for is financially secure enough to allow its employees to get the 3% COLA increase plus an additional raise based on where we are on our payscale. Minimum to mid point on payscale gets 5%, minimum to maximum 2.5% and if youre at the maximum or beyond, 0%. I'm grateful for that and the fact I have a job right now.

the mayor is getting an increase put the state employees are all on pay increase freeze, and they are wondering why we are going to different companies smh at the Government
