Registration Mandatory for ALL NLR High School Students

Week-long process starts with seniors on August 5.
NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - School district officials are gearing up for a mandatory registration of ALL high school students.

The registration dates are August 5 - 9 and take place at the NLRHS West Campus.

This year, a parent or guardian must register their student on the designated day outlined below. (Photo identification badges will be made of students that are present the day of registration).

Monday, August 5

JUNIORS (and makeup for seniors)
Tuesday, August 6
12:00 - 7:00   

SOPHOMORES (and makeup for seniors & juniors)
Wednesday, August 7
12:00 - 7:00   

FRESHMEN (and makeup for seniors, juniors, & sophomores at West Campus)
Registration for Freshman and the "Lets Get Started Party" will be held at the NLRHS Freshman Campus (Located behind Target in NLR, the former Lakewood Middle School).
Thursday, August 8
12:00 - 7:00   

Makeup for all grades at NLRHS West Campus
Friday, August 9                    
8:00 - 4:00     

NEW STUDENTS to the NLRSD will register between 8-4pm on August 1 & 2 at NLRHS West Campus.

  • Parents may attend a day after their scheduled day, but not earlier.
  • Parents with multiple high school children may register all students in one visit.
  • School Choice and M-M students must register on their designated day.
What you will need to register:
  • Proof of residence (current electric, gas, or water bill or a copy of your mortgage or lease)
  • Social Security Number (Card preferred not required)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Shot record (only new students to the NLRSD)

What to expect ( Each parent or legal guardian will):

  • Complete a packet of information: updated information, lunch application, medical/medication form, signup for bus service, etc.
  • Participate in a survey for the AdvancEd evaluation process
  • Receive Edline Codes and update information for the School Messenger system
  • Learn what's new for the 2013-14 school year including updates on the Capital Improvement Plan.
  • Receive their student's schedule and purchase parking permit

To pick up schedules, students must be debt free. There will be a location for you to check on and pay for any outstanding debts. We strongly encourage you to check on your debt status and pay debts prior to registration by going on-line to for library fines and at for other debts. Freshman should contact the Freshman Campus at (501) 771-8250, all other students will contact the West Campus at (501) 771-8100 if you have trouble accessing either website.

Due to the construction at the West Campus, no reserved parking will be available this school year. All students interested in purchasing a parking permit will pay $5 for a parking permit, not a specific parking spot. All student parking will be on a first come, first serve basis. As the school year and construction progresses, student parking at West Campus will be expanded to locations near West Campus. The District plans to purchase land near West Campus to be used for parking this year. To purchase a parking permit a student must provide: 1) make and model of your vehicle, 2) driver's license, 3) proof of insurance, 4) car registration, and 5) license plate number. Cash payments only.

Why do you have to register?
The purpose of this registration is for the school district to gain current information for its system in order to communicate with parents.
