Guess What Atheists!!!! Do you know that EVERYONE of us pays taxes that go to Pulic Schools for your kids? Yet we have to shut up? Now is there not something missing in this ? How about these people who pay more for their children's education NOT pay taxes for your's?

Us good old tax paying people voted in that Federal government most cry about. They work for the moral majority. Note I said moral. You can be moral without being christian. Our solution for what we think the government does wrong is to contact the people we voted for and let them know our feelings. Good government takes good involvement from all. I want my government to enforce the laws just as they are written and justly to all people. If your unhappy with it tell the people about it. I know some in my area and I know how to use the phone and E-mail.

why is a religious based school receiving tax money?????? And JLP, "no religion in schools" is not what's wrong with the world today...What's wrong with the world today is our fed gov't. It's the a-hats in DC who decide that they want to control and fund everything, and we allow it. Then complain b/c you can't do this or you can't do that. There's is no liberty when you rely on the gov't...

Most of us, by now, know that the seperation of Church and State has been forcing anything regarding religion out of the process. That is why it is SO important that any Church Run or Christian Faith type Schools DO NOT take any money or funds of any kind from the Government! Take donations or any other way but DONT take Government Money or you are giving up your rights to run the school like you believe! SMARTEN UP PEOPLE!

whats the point in having a "Christian based" preschool if they cant talk about Christ, DHS knew about the funding and everything before they approved the center to be open and @vidalia 1957 people have been complaining about where/how their tax dollars have been used/spend for many years now, if you want to go there then i dont wont my tax dollars taking care of people on welfare, i dont want my tax dollars being used for unneccarsy functions that have suddenly accured in the past 5 years

Our country was founded on christian belives. Yet they take it out off schools. That is what's wrong with the world today. Christ has been removed from eveything!

It does not take a rocket scientist to know that children who are raised with in a christian environment are less likely to be troublemakers. The Bible says train up a child in the way they should go and when they are yet old they won't depart from it. It does not say they won't stray, and if they do their inner being is going to tug at them because they know that they are doing something that they shouldn't be. These children need to be taught moral values. Don't wait until they get big to try teaching them because it may be to late. Compare the difference between the children who are brought up in regular schools and those who are brought up in christian schools. Christian backgrounds make a difference. I can take all 7 of my children to the store and they don't get out of hand. Before I leave that store, someone will make a comment or statement on how good they are being. They may say,"I can't get my child to act like that and I only haave one or two" IWe get a lot oc compliments from older people. One older couple followed us through Sam's and I didn't even know it. When we got to the checkout they came up to us to let us know and to compliment the children. Almost every conversation ends in "What does your husband say about this" or "Are you married?" I just smile and say, "Mam or Sir, I'm not married", "It's just the Lord, me and my family"

if my tax money is going to this preschool i think i have a right to object. its not an attack on christianity, its an attack on where my money's going. there's a reason for the separation of church and state; without it we're no better than iran and the ayatollahs. if you want to send your kid to a faith based school, that's fine, but YOU pay for it, not me. i find it offensive that its okay when christian schools receive funding but other faiths come under fire for receiving the same benefits. so just level the playing field and keep church and state monies separate.

WTH is the “Washington-based Americans United for the Separation of Church” doing in Arkansas. Why don’t they go back to where they came from “Washington”? These groups make me sick sticking their nose where it doesn’t belong. Get the HE!! Out of Arkansas.
