JACKSONVILLE, AR – Investigators released a report on the fire that killed a Jacksonville family of five back in March.

The report says the fire originated on the kitchen stove, in a cooking pot on the right front burner. The Fire Marshal says the caused by “unattended cooking.” In March, the coroner’s office says Marilyn Beavers and her four children died of smoke and soot inhalation.

The completed coroner’s report said Beavers had a blood alcohol level of 0.14%.

No, there is not a legal limit at home; but if you are responsible for children, then one should show a little self control so that something like this does not happen. My sympathy to the family regardless. May the children enjoy Heaven; whether or not Mom got there is up to her Maker.
