Some people say attempted murder but little do we know that this charge carry a higher sentence than attempted murder so we as her family are happy with it.. Thanks for all your prayers!!

Laws need to be changed. There is no doubt he meant to kill her. But that's the way it reads. Years ago one of my kids was shot by a stranger trying to kill someone else. Couldn't be charged with attempted murder [although it's miracle she lived] because she wasn't the one he was trying to shoot. He did 18 mos. Then when he got out his new girl worked for the probation dept! He meant to kill someone what difference does it make who he did shoot. Thank you prosecutors who decide to let their personal feelings and media decide in the courtrooms. Cocaine to blame oh really? Give me a break.

since it's his wife, it's not attempted murder...had it been a stranger, you bet he'd be charged with attempted murder along with a million other things...he'll just get a slap on the wrist and have to take some anger management classes. Unfortunately we'll just have to wait until he actually does murder someone, then maybe he'll go to prison for life, where he belongs..maybe

If you live in that area get on the phone and call the prosecutor . He is the one that sets the final charge. If you don't get the results you think this case warrants vote for someone else. Give him a clue that the voters in his area are not happy with his charge. Prosecuting attorneys are elected.

She is in the hospital for stabs wounds. LOL. I would have to agree with those that say the charge should be attempted murder. If you "stabs" someone this many times, your intent was not just to harm them. This cat intended on killing her. But like one said. Whats a felony mean anymore?

You guys are right, I think when you stab somebody 12 times, it is Attempted Murder. Wonder who is paying all the hospital bills?
