SUV Crashes into Woods near Hot Springs

GARLAND COUNTY, AR - The Arkansas State Police is investigating after a sports utility vehicle (SUV) rolls off Albert Pike Road into a wooded area.

It happened about 6:30 Sunday night in the 3500 block.

The driver apparently lost control and crashed into the branches of some trees about 30 feet from the roadway.

There were two adults and three children in the SUV at the time of the accident. The children were taken to the hospital by LifeNet with non life threatening injuries.

The Piney Fire Department and the Arkansas State Police worked the accident.
