A lot of convicted people have been turned loose from prison after serving years. I used to be one that said hang’um high and use a strong rope. Not so much anymore. I’m all for justice and totally against child molesters or anyone who hurts a child like this looks like, but I’m going to hold my judgment until after the trial. And what comes out of it may be iffy at best. Yes the law men can twist any thing you say into something bad given the chance. I don’t know anything about this case except what I have read in the news, and to be honest, I take that with a grain of salt. All news reporters have a way of spinning a story the way they want it to be. Not based on fact and sometimes just trying to cause a stink. Guess I stand alone on this issue but just look at the WMT crap that went on. Come on people, some times even a confession don’t hold water because of the way they obtain it. If he is guilty, then give him what he deserves by law not emotions. Having said that, If he is guilty, I hope he get's the worst possible punishment we have to offer!

ITSJUSTME, I am resilient fifty year old and a gulf war era veteran. More injuries than most people have teeth. I was a Drill Instructor when it happened. The Marine Corps said they had invested too much in us to allow us to go back to our units. My unit. Marine Wing Support Squadron-273 aka the sweathogs, went. After my tour of duty as a D.I. I was sent back to my unit. Would like to meet you on day and sit and have a chat. The county I live in needs a new sheriff. So I am running in 2014 and already have support and backers and expect to get more and more. I'll give you a hint on which one. Benton has a sex offender on the loose. Make sure that machine is sturdy enough. As for this guy and his brother. Always three sides to the story. TOO BAD THE CHILD CAN'T TELL HERS.

Well of course his side of story is going to be "I didnt do it". Whose wouldnt be? If he is innocent, as you say, then how can they turn his side of it negative? Just asking.

And when they find him guilty, will you feel the same towards him as you would any other person that killed a infant?

Leatherneck, I agree with ya friend. I'm not sure of your age bracket, but I dont think youre very wet behind the ear. Even tho I was not in the Corps, I have total respect for ya'll. Ya'll go through some tough stuff, but I'm not selling other branches short. I have several Forces Recon buds, and I know where and what they've been through. Myself, I'm an old navy rat. After I went to hell and back with SEAL training, my upper brass thought highly enough of me to "recommend" me for DEVGRU. I honestly think hell would have been a vacation. Unless this guy was a total wimp to get "stressed out from boot camp", he would have never made it in the military. I've been to places that make Afghanistan look like the Bahamas (not taking anything from those serving or have served in Afghanistan, cause I know its hell) and I've never came home and took a infants life. I'm tired of these candy asses claiming PTSD to try to justify a crime. Sure, there are some out there that have been through and seen some crap that would make them lose their minds, but some are ust using it as a scape goat for the truth. And leatherneck, I'll start working on your machine. LOL.

From reports last night he hadn't long been back from Army National Guard Boot camp. So tell me, just how stressful could that be and was it so stressful that he is being charged with killing a 4 month old. To the friend of 19 years, if he didn't do it, then who did? I went through Marine Corps Boot Camp and didn't come back and kill a defenseless child. I went through Marine Corps Drill Instructor School and didn't go home and kill my 3 year old son. He is just one of those that needs to be castrated. I agree with itsjustme. Law makers are more concerned about what the killers and rapist call cruel and unusual punishment. I have a plan. Build a machine that kills the person that kills someone in the same manner. For instance, if you shoot someone, the machine has that same gun mounted to it with a timer. Killer can't see the timer, just has to sit and wait for it to go off. Same with a beating. Take the bat or tool and let the machine beat them to death. I believe murderers should die the same way they take a life. You get one appeal and it only last 24 hours. OH WELL. BAM Next. Too much symapthy for the criminals and none for the victims. If this idiot is found guilty he should die from blunt trama to the head. Set him down next to the machine and let it do its duty.

benton0311, you said this man fights for your freedom to be alive, so I am assuming he is/was in the military. The fact he is/was in the military and the fact you have known him for 19 years may lead you to believe he is innocent. Apparently they have enough evidence to charge him of this vicious crime. I'd like for him, or you, or anyone else explain to us why this baby had head trauma in the first place. Someone did it, and right now, he is the one charged.

this man is innocent!!!! if you dont know him then you shouldnt judge him. ive known him for 19 yrs, and watched him raise these kids, stop believing what investigators are saying... they dont have enough evidence to make it stick, they just need someone to blame. this man fights for your freedom to be alive
