LITTLE ROCK, AR -- A lot of homeless Arkansans got a chance to escape the cold weather for a warm, hearty meal.
Volunteers served Christmas dinner at Salvation Army around eleven Tuesday morning.
The dinner recipients got a chance to chow down on all the traditional holiday fixings, including a delicious dressing.
Those who got a chance to eat say they appreciate all the organization has done this year and thank the volunteers who left their families for a little while to serve them.
"Everybody was welcomed with a lot of gifts, and the hospitality was so great and nice. It was so nice," said Eunice Oslero.
Salvation Army leaders say they won't turn anyone away tonight to make sure everyone without a place to go on this cold night has a place to go.
