Multiple school bus slide-offs and one school bus accident are reported this morning in Northwest Arkansas.

Winter weather in the area has created slippery roads.

Bentonville Police say several school buses slid off the roads with some still in ditches.

Also, 18 students were on board a Benton County school bus when a car rear-ended it.

Mary Ley, with Bentonville schools says no one was hurt but Centerton Police and Benton County emergency crews are responding to at least five other Bentonville school bus slide-offs across the county.

So far, there have been no reports of injuries.

Had thunder storms here but no snow. Signed up for Fox 16 weather alerts recently and they came through for me yesterday. Got an alert, passed it on to a friend, and 1/2 hour later the thunderstorm came in just as predicted. good job Fox 16! Everybody should sign up.
