Searcy man arrested on drug charges

SEARCY, AR - Authorities arrested a 29-year-old man Thursday for possession with intent to deliver and confiscated almost $6,000 worth of suspected Ice.

Edwin Padilla was arrested during a joint operation with the Central Arkansas Drug Task Force, the White County Sheriff’s Office, the Searcy Police Department and federal authorities.

Authorities say they seized approximately 59 grams of suspected methamphetamine in the form of Ice with an approximate street value $5,900, as well as $1,880 cash.

Padilla is being held at the White County Detention Center on $200,000 bond. Additional charges are anticipated.

I bet he's illegal as well. This Mexican crime wave is way out of hand! Its sickening!
