NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Since Labor Day marks the unofficial end to summer, many seasonal business owners are preparing to close up -- hoping they see profit.
Folks packed Wild River Country to take a splash on the holiday.
New owners took over the water park earlier this year and made major upgrades to it.
Management said they expect a profit because of all the high attendance they saw throughout the summer season.
During the off season, owners plan to catering to customers' suggestions.
"You have to be willing to face your critiques, your critics who come out each day and know operation is the best you can have it," said owner Chris Shillcutt.
Owners will close the park on September 15, but will reopen in November for the winter season.
