SEARCY, AR - The White County Sheriff's Office has made a second arrest in a home break-in Monday in Judsonia on Dam Site Road.

Jesse Rayburn, 29, of Searcy, is accused of waiting for the homeowner in the lower level of the residence where he eventually shot the homeowner with a bow and arrow. After the struggle that followed, deputies say Rayburn sprayed the homeowner with mace before running away.

Rayburn was booked into the White County Detention Center late Tuesday and charged with Residential Burglary as well as a Parole Violation and warrant from the Searcy Police Department.

Rayburn is being held on $100,000 bond.

His court date has been set for May 7th.

Johnny Whaley, 34, is also charged with burglary in the case.

Whaley, already out on $50,000 bond for Theft by Receiving as well as Possession of Narcotics, is in the county jail on $150,000 bond. His next court date is May 7th.

Not another parolee committing a crime. Say it isnt so. The prison/parole system is working so well to reform those that are convicted of crimes. I cant believe a parolee would do such a thing.

I've got an idea. How about we actually administer the death penalty and free up some prison space so scum like this isn't walking around looking for his next victim?
