and to think that maybe they'd still be here if only they had put on a seatbelt...sad, RIP

Who's to say they wasn't texting? That causes as many or more accidents as sleepy or drunk driving. There is a thousand things that could have happened. The fact is we've lost two youngsters. May God give their families comfort and piece. My prayers for the families.

I agree with you both and also something to consider. If your too tired or you have not had enough sleep you should not be driving. This has nothing to do with age or skill. This is a proven fact that driving while your tired is equivalent to being drunk. May God watch over these families and give the peace and clarity knowing their loved ones are with him. there are more accidents in this state that I have ever seen. People we need to wake up again remember your car is a lethal weapon. Be smart, be safe and think straight, your better to be late then not making it.

Our prayers go out to the families of these two young people. Lost control equals either driving too fast, or under the influence of something. buschh8r was correct; seat belts would have probably saved their lives. But the young think they will live forever; and more and more, we are seeing them disregarding the laws such as speed limits, driving under the influence, and not wearing seat belts. Please; teach your children the proper driving habits by example. May they rest in peace, and may their families find comfort in our Lord and Savior.

Sounds like neither was wearing their seatbelt. Seatbelts save lives!
