LITTLE ROCK, AR - Memorial services for a murdered Little Rock teen are slated for next weekend. Family visitation is Friday evening followed by funeral services Saturday afternoon for 14 year old Michael Stanley, Jr.

Police say the Little Rock teen was run down and killed by 58 year old Michael Sadler, Sr. Investigators say Stanley was on his bicycle when Sadler used his mini-van to chase down the youth and run over him. Police tells us Saddler claims the youth had stolen his wallet. Sadler is in the Pulaski County Detention Center charged with First Degree Murder with bond set at one million dollars.

Family hour for anyone wanting to pay their respects for 14 year old Michael Stanley Jr. is Friday, May 11, 2012, at 6:15pm in the Robinson Mortuary Chapel, 1201 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, in Little Rock. Funeral services are slated for Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Mercy Seat Missionary Baptist Church, 8715 Oman Road, in Little Rock.

they can call it "murder" if they like but there's a difference between murder and protecting one's property.

@ Babyarm...I have to agree with you. I don't believe his life needed to be taken, and my prayers go to the friends and family for the boy. When anyone steals and is caught, 1st instinct is to whoop them. Thats a natural human instinct. There is no exuse for taking his life. the man could have followed him while calling the police. the bad thing is no one won and everyone lost over a stupid minor theft. He wasn't robbed at gunpoint, the kid should have been in school. Kids I hope you all take heed to this situation and think about the consequences of your actions.

Dont try and make this Child a hero because he was a thief and had he been in school this would not have happened. You dont steal other peoples property that They WORK FOR !!!! I am so sorry that he was killed but when you rob someone or go into their house you take the chance of being killed.
