This guy should be sentenced as a felon and do at least 10 yrs. with out chance of parole. I am surprised he didn't kill them. He just couldn't kill himself or I believe he would have done that. I was around 1 about like him for 36 yrs. He didn't have whatever it took to kill me. He had the guns and knives on me a number of times but didn't do it. He later just looked and acted like a psycho that had nothing else to say or do. Later, I got PI License in Ar. in 1999 and got concealed handgun permit. I carried it on me. I had already got the courage to dear hunt and squirrel hunt, turkey hunt and duck hunt. I was darn good at shooting and he really didn't know if I would use it on him or not. We had been separated with 3rd degree battery charges handing over him. He had been arrested at a medical clinic after I got him to take me to the doctor.I went back to him and I told his lawyer that I wanted to drop the charges. The attorney said to me,"Then he didn't do that did he?" I said,"Yes he did". The judge said that if he ever laid his hands on me again he would charge him with the offense and whatever other charges. It may have helped. I did tell him that if I went back to him if he ever threatened me or did anything to me, he would never get by with it. He just didn't know later if I would use the bullet on him or not. He wasn't worth the salt that went into his food or the dirt he walks on. I got 1 of his drug runners busted 1 Fri. and that is what got him to make the 1st move out of my life. He knew he was going to be the next 1 busted. He of course stalked me from a distance then I got pictures of him and his new wife in front of my home and that must be what caused him to back off. I always dealt with him in the courts. He and his wife have a No Contact Order against them forever. They moved about 5 miles from where I live in other co. and can come up to my house from the water in front of my house. I will do whatever I need to do. I don't live in fear. He may.

...he probably won't do any significant jail time, but had it been a stranger he did that to, it would be a different story...It takes an evil person to harm another one but an even more evil person to harm someone who they supposedly love..

Yes sir butch. You hit that nail right on the head. Today we live in a country where you can't spank your child. How do we punish criminals. To many soft shelled criminal sympathizers get voted in. Then on the other hand I've noticed something else. To many are many willing to run the punk teaser instead of that punk slapper. How do these people help promote criminal activity. If you can make the punishment fit when their young you can't find one latter that will work. Like a dog in the hen house. When it starts it's to late. I'll cast my vote every time for the one that wants to bring back the wood shed and hickory switch.

You may think I am crazy, but I have been married for 34 years now.And yes we have argued many times as all couples do. I will even say this and here is where you will say "HE'S NUTS" It starts by a touch in passing with my wife's hand, later its a half smile, then its a nice gesture of some kind on both parts. And soon we are talking calmly and understanding one another. What brings this action to my wife and I? 1 thing from years past....Eagles "I CANT TELL YOU WHY" Youtube it... Try it, it surely will not hurt you.

It's like I said in an earlier post. Till we elect some people that will stop letting these people go so easy we are stuck. I wish some of you were the men you thought you were and half the man your mother was.

It is this simple people. The lawmakers, elected officials, justice system, etc. that are helping to breed these animals. Although, they are not the complete blame, they do play a major role. Not only do they not try to rehabilitate (if that is even possible) people like this, they do not try to keep them off of the streets and keep them from doing this again. Nothing will change until the system is changed.

Face it this is the south and it wasn't until the 90's they took the law off the books in Ar. that you couldn't beat your wife and kids after 8 o'clock because it disturbed the neighbors. So we still have plenty of men raised to become abusers. A learned at home behavior. Keep her barefoot, pregnant and a maid 'cause she isn't good for anything else. The shelters here are NOT. Now we even have women who abuse men. Not as many for sure but it is getting worse. Charlie is right the animal shelters are better for the most part as they usually put them to sleep to end their suffering.
