Sheriff candidate files lawsuit against Governor Beebe

Update: Russ Aiken has filed suit against Governor Beebe and the Stone County Election Commission for forcing him to fund an illegal election. Governor Mike Beebe was officially served paperwork today.

Well Samuel, you and Beebe haven't got a leg to stand on constitutionally when it comes this issue. The constitution is clear about what to do, or in this case what not to do, in the event of a tie in a primary runoff election. Russ Aiken will prevail in this lawsuit if there is any justice left in Arkansas. If he does not prevail, then we might as well take the Arkansas Constitution, put it on a toilet paper roll and use it to wipe our backsides with.

The Special Election should be honored. The Republican Candidate for Sheriff, is out of line, in my opinion. Let the procedure advance.
