HARRISON, Ark. (AP) — The sheriff in Baxter County has been injured in a motorcycle accident after running into a group of deer.

The Baxter Bulletin reports that John Montgomery was riding a Honda motorcycle Thursday night on Arkansas Highway 101, just south of the Missouri border. The deer ran onto the highway, and Montgomery collided with one of them.

He lost control of the motorcycle, striking a tree before coming to rest in a ditch on the side of the highway.

Montgomery was taken to an area hospital, where he was treated and released.

I want a report as to how the deer are doing; did any of them get hurt? The story said the sheriff ran into a group of deer, did he not see them? Then the story said the deer ran onto the highway? So which is it!!! Don’t send a reporter out to cover a story if they don’t know what happened or how to report the news.

Wonder if he gave the deer a ticket for impeding a lawful investigation? He shouldn't have been riding around on a damn ole motorcycle in that deer's home space anyway LOL. Does those deer come around riding motorcycles and ATV's in his home space NO they don't.

Did he ticket the deer for failure to yield, jaywalking, or impeding the flow of traffic??? Probably not.
