LITTLE ROCK, AR -- It is a sewage problem that doesn't seem to be getting any better says Susie Fletcher.
"It's beyond me why nothing is getting done here," says Fletcher.
She lives in the Royal Oaks Community and says sewage has been building in the area for several months. Now she wants action.
"We can't open our windows. We can't have my little nieces out here on the ground," says Fletcher.
Jordan Netzley agrees.
"It smells like bleach mixed in with all kinds of sewer water. It just smells really bad," says Netzley.
Fletcher has called agency-after-agency to get help. But nothing has worked.
So Fox 16 News stepped in. We first called North Little Rock Waste Water managers since they provide services to the complex. They told us the issue is a property management matter
But when we called the manager's front office, a spokesperson told us the problem is a Sherwood City issue.
Sherwood managers said they hadn't heard about the problem until we called and promised to send someone out Monday to evaluate the issue.
"We'd move but we can't afford to. It's gotten to the point where we really don't want to live here. This is a great trailer park but the sewage problem is out of control," said Fletcher.
