The deadly UCA shooting may have another twist, including a second shooting spree in Pine Bluff. UCA police are working with Pine Bluff police to look for similarities. The men arrested in connection with the Conway shooting were in Pine Bluff the night before the shooting happened at UCA. The question is were those men responsible for the gunshots heard in Pine Bluff hours before the shootings at UCA?

"When our shooting went on, we didn't have any idea anything else was going to happen," said Lt. Bob Rawlinson with Pine Bluff Police.

It was 2:30 Sunday morning. Pine Bluff Police went to Jefferson Square after reports someone went on a shooting spree after a party.

"There were several groups of individuals that came from the Little Rock and Conway area to attend the party," Rawlinson said.

It was a University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff homecoming party at The Main Event.  Two people were shot there that night. Both of them were in the same car but the shooter took it a step further, shooting at three other cars in the parking lot.

One victim, 19 year old Alamisha Jones, was hit when a bullet ricocheted from the ground into her leg. She’s doing fine now.  The other victim, 24 year old Tedrick Jones, was shot in the stomach. He's listed at Jefferson Regional in fair condition.

It all happened 19 hours before the tragic shooting deaths at UCA.

"It was something that was brought down to Pine Bluff from those individuals that came down from the Little Rock and Conway area," Rawlinson said.

Now police are investigating a possible link, especially after a text message from one of the UCA shooting victims, Ryan Henderson. The text reportedly warns a friend shooters were on campus as a result of something that happened the night before in Pine Bluff.

"We don't know what involvement if any they had in that at this point," Lt. Rawlinson said.

Police also found a semi automatic handgun at the scene of the Pine Bluff shooting. Their job now is to pinpoint who used it to fire the shots on that early Sunday morning.

We spoke with Alamisha Jones, she lives in Little Rock but was in Pine Bluff that night for the party. She said she has no idea who shot at her and that she doesn't know the men involved in the Conway shooting either.
