Shooting in White County, suspects at large

The White County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people involved in a shooting outside of Searcy Wednesday evening. The victim was shot in the stomach but expected to make a full recovery.
SEARCY, AR – The White County Sheriff’s Office is looking for two people involved in a shooting outside of Searcy Wednesday evening. The victim was shot in the stomach but expected to make a full recovery.

The suspects are an unknown man in his late-teens or early 20’s, and a woman known as “13” who is also in her late-teens or early 20’s.

The shooting happened at 133 Oak Forrest Road, north of Searcy, around 5:30pm. According to the sheriff’s office, “13” came into the home and told the victim, 25-year-old Perry Neal, that someone was there to talk to him. The victim came into the front room where he and the unknown man got into “a brief scuffle” before Neal was shot.

The sheriff’s office says the man and “13” left the home in a white Chevy Monte Carlo with the license plate number 721-REJ.
