HOT SPRINGS, AR – Police say an early Sunday morning shooting left one person dead and another wounded. Police were called to the scene just after midnight Saturday.

A report of shots fired drew Hot Springs Police to 402 Estelle Street. When they got there they found one man shot to death in his vehicle and a passenger wounded.

Police say 28 year old Randy Shinkle died of an apparent gunshot wound. A passenger in the vehicle, Juan Santiago, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of what are described as non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no arrest reported in connection with the incident. The homicide remains under investigation.
