Alzheimer's is a terrible disease. My grandmother (who lived across the street from my family when I was growing up) suffered from it for approximately 7 years prior to her death. Someone had to stay with her 24/7. She was bad about getting up in the middle of the night and wandering away from home. I know the terrible feelings the family is experiencing.
