Silver alert activated for missing Crawford County man

I am so sorry for the family of this man - I know they are so very worried. BUT why does an 84 with memory lapses have access to a car? This is wrong for the gentleman & for those of us on the road with him. If I come around a curve & find this gentleman in my lane due to a "memory laps" the fact that someone did not remove his car keys is now my problem. I clipped the wings of both my "moms" years ago BEFORE there was an issue. You reach a certain age, the reflexes & mental sharpness is not good enough to drive. If you love the elder(s) in your life do not wait until there is an accident or other issue. Step back & evaluate or have someone else do it & remove the keys before something happens. It is not easy but at least I know that they will not drive off & injure them selves or someone else... including me.
